THWC LEADERSHIP
The mission of The House Worship Center is to make disciples by teaching Biblical truth, helping others, worshiping God with understanding, and connecting people to a relationship with God that will last.
Our vision is "Everything Teach". We want to use every encounter as teaching opportunity to follow the Great Commission as it states in Matthew 28:19-20, "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name
of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen."
The House Worship Center has a legacy of ministry that began 65 years ago in the Denver Community. In 2008, we merged with two local congregations and the church adopted its new name and vision, bringing together a unique mixture of diversities in age and in ethnicity worshiping together in one spiritual house. THWC is a teaching ministry and is home to men and women that are hungry to learn the Word of God. Our teaching menu includes in-depth weekly word studies, training and preparation for ministry, leadership and development, and advance Biblical studies on doctrine and the Hebraic history of the Christian faith. The leadership of Pastor Del Phillips has brought our congregation to its current location which is structurally fit
to support our vision for teaching and ministry.

Meet The Team

THWC Executive Staff
Chairman of the Board of Directors
Deacon Dr. Jorge Taylor
Chairman of the Deacons Board
Deacon Clayton Massey
Deacon Jorge Taylor is the husband of Pastor Jennie Taylor. They have been married 52 years. They enjoy traveling together whenever time permits. His greatest joy is his faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
His testimony is:
“If it had not been for the Lord on my side where would I be”.
He is an author and has written a book titled "Back From The Edge", about why he knows that his faith in God has been his anchor. The Lord has blessed him with the gift of teaching and he uses this talent in teaching at THWC and he teaches a men’s group outside of THWC. He often quotes the scripture -
Hosea: 4-6 "My people perish for lack of knowledge."
Deacon Taylor has worn many hats during his years of service at THWC, such as pastoral support, leadership, guidance, love, and time. Providing a standard of trustworthiness and reliability are exemplified in his current role as the Chairman of the Board of Directors- guiding the church to fiscally sound endeavors and allowing the ministry to grow.
Deacon Clayton Massey is a vital part of the THWC Staff and body. This compassionate loving husband of more than 50 years to his beautiful wife Louise, and proud father of his talented children. He oversees the Deaconate which by definition has a unique purpose which is to carry out the kind of work described in the
Book of Acts, chapter 6:3 " Wherefore, brethren, look ye out among you seven men of honest report, full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business.
They are ready to do any work that is a logical and practical extension of the work of Christ through the local body of believers.
Deacon Massey has a personality that allows him to be both a blessing to his Pastor and the church body, and everyone else that he may encounter. While performing his duties he also finds time to lend in voice in ministry singing with the choir, or alone.
